Kent Artistic Roller Dance Cub caters for a sport that can be enjoyed by all ages and any standard. So, if your considering trying out skating or are already an experienced skater wanting to join us then get in touch via our contact page.

Our governing body is Federation Artistic Roller Dance to which we are affiliated. (FARS). They are responsible for the selection of skaters that compete Internationally and we are proud to say that over the years many of our skaters have represented Great Britain. FARS also arrange tests and training days and oversee Inter-club competitions.   KARDC’s aim is to help skaters of all ages to reach their potential in a safe and happy environment.  Those that want to go further in this global sport are encouraged to eventually compete in Artistic Roller Skating events.

Friday 6.30 – 7.30pm YMCA Maidstone

We hold our club sessions at the YMCA at Maidstone where many youngsters come along to try artistic sating. Both children and parents are welcome to give our sport a try. During this session basis skating instruction is provided following the FARS basic skills course which follows grades 1 -6 followed by a few games.

Other sessions are held at other venues which are follow on lessons according to ability.

Will I need my own skates?

Skates are available to hire at the YMCA, however, follow on Artistic skates can also be hired from a third party supplier. Please get advice from the coach Jackie regarding the right type of skates and where to get them.
